Trump expected to name CDC director nominee today or tomorrow, Kennedy says

U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said on Thursday that he expects President Donald Trump to announce a nominee for the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention either today or tomorrow.

“I expect that ​President Trump, I ​believe that he is going to ‌release ⁠the nominations of the new team at CDC, including the ​new CDC ​administrator, ⁠or director, this week, hopefully today ​or tomorrow,” Kennedy ​told ⁠the health subcommittee of the House Appropriations ⁠Committee.
