The abnormal growth in the cells of the lungs can make it difficult for the lung to perform its normal functioning. Image tests, biopsy and also bronchoscopy can be used in the diagnosis of cancer in the lung. Treatment like chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery, and target Therapy can be looked upon for treating lung cancer.

3. Prostate Cancer: Primarily affecting men, and is very common in them.prostate cancer develops in the prostate gland which is a very small gland that is responsible for formation seminal fluids. It usually grows slowly making it not very noticeable at its early stages.blood tests and digital rectal examination can be done to diagnose this type of cancer.

Treatment Options

Advancements in medical science and the department of oncology have led to a variety of treatment options for cancer patients. The choice of treatment depends on several factors ,which  includes the type and stage of cancer, as well as the patient’s overall health.

There are some Common cancer treatment options which are mentioned below:

1. Surgery: removing the tumor by performing a surgery or affected tissue is often the first  treatment option for localized cancers. Surgery can be performed to remove a small localized tumour and can also have a more extensive procedure in which a big lymph notes are taken off and if needed sometimes nearby organs can also be removed for the safety of the person and and also for the infection to not travel further and contaminate other organs of the body.

2. Radiation Therapy: This treatment uses high-energy rays such as X- rays which are targeted to destroy the  cancer cells. It damages the DNA of the cells which prevents them from multiplying. It can be used as a standalone treatment but then many a times It is often used in combination with other treatments like surgery or a chemotherapy etc.
